I took this photo while walking through the Rose Garden. 

There are so many beautiful flowers there, it is unlike any other garden in the world.

This photo was taken downtown, it always amazes me that in Portland there is

 nature even in the middle of the city and I adore that.The neutral tones of the bark makes 

the green moss stand out and appear more vibrant and colorful.

Bug's Eye View

This photo is of the same tree as the previous picture, but at a different angle. 

By editing it to look black and white it gives a completely different 

look than another photo of the same object.

Leading Lines 

The pipes and abnormal winding shapes in this photo draw the observers

 eyes to the shadows agains the wall.

The metal box against the ivy covered wall brings the observers

 eye to the contrast in color.
